Your First Sunday, Made Simple

Visiting somewhere new can feel a little intimidating, especially when you're not sure what to expect. We want to make your first Sunday as simple and welcoming as possible. From finding a parking spot to finding a seat, our team is here to help you feel at home.

1. Arrive and Park

Whether you're visiting Sumner or Yankee Hill, look for our parking volunteers as you arrive. They'll help direct you to an available spot, and accessible parking is available at both campuses. We recommend arriving about 15 minutes before worship begins.

2. Come On In

At Sumner, enter through our central entrance and head left for 211 Worship or right for Sanctuary Worship. At Yankee Hill, enter through the doors near the upper parking lot. Whichever campus you're visiting, our welcome team is ready to answer questions, show you around, or help you find your way.

3. Worship With Us

Our worship services last approximately one hour and are centered on Jesus Christ and His Word. Whether you prefer contemporary music or traditional hymns and liturgy, you don't need to know anything beforehand. Come as you are, find a seat, and join us as we worship together. We're glad you're here!

Bringing Your Family?

At Christ Lincoln, we believe faith is nurtured at every age. Our Family Ministries provide opportunities for children and students to learn about Jesus, grow in God's Word, and build meaningful relationships. From nursery care for our youngest children to Bible studies and community for middle and high school students, we want your whole family to feel welcomed and supported as you grow together in faith.

Families at Sumner

Nursery care is available from 8:45–10:45 AM, with children's and student Bible classes primarily during the 9:30 worship hour.

Families at Yankee Hill

Nursery care is available from 8:45–11:45 AM, with children's and student Bible classes during the 9:00 worship hour.

We believe that faith is formed and nurtured at every age. At Christ Lincoln, our Family Ministries partner with parents to help children and students discover the love of Jesus, grow in God's Word, and build meaningful relationships.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?

There's no special dress code. At 211, you'll see plenty of jeans and t-shirts. Sanctuary tends to be a little more business casual, but you're welcome to wear whatever feels comfortable.

How long does worship last?

Our services last approximately one hour. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early if you're visiting for the first time.

Where can I learn more?

We invite you to check out our welcome desk and talk to our friendly volunteers. They will be able to give you information about upcoming events and ways to get connected.

Do I have to give money?

Absolutely not. If you're visiting for the first time, there's no expectation to give. Our hope is that you receive the gifts God has for you through worship.

What if I'm not Lutheran?

You're welcome here! Christ Lincoln is part of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. Our worship is centered on Jesus, His Word, and the salvation He gives by grace through faith.
