211 Sumner is ancient truth in a contemporary setting. At 211, we bring together contemporary music, engaging messages, and creative elements that help us experience the timeless truth of God's Word. Our worship is centered on Jesus Christ, rooted in Scripture, and shaped by God's grace. Whether we're singing together, hearing God's Word, or gathering around the Lord's Table, our hope is that everything points you back to Jesus.

Every Sunday, we gather as a community to worship Jesus, grow in our understanding of His Word, and encourage one another in faith. You'll experience contemporary worship led by our musicians, messages grounded in Scripture, and opportunities to participate in the life of the church. Some Sundays include unique creative elements that help bring God's Word into focus. Through it all, our purpose remains the same: to connect people to Christ so that all may know Jesus.

Your First Sunday, Made Simple

Visiting a church for the first time can feel intimidating. We want to make it easy. From the moment you arrive, our team is here to help you find your way, answer questions, and feel at home.

1. Arrive and Park

Our Sumner Campus is located at 4325 Sumner Street. Look for our parking volunteers, who can help direct you to an available spot. Accessible parking is also available.

2. Come On In

Enter through our central entrance and head left toward 211 Worship. Stop by our welcome desk if you'd like someone to show you around or help you find a seat.

3. Worship With Us

Services last approximately one hour. Come a little early, find a seat, and join us as we hear God's Word and worship together. There's no special dress code, and you don't need to know anything beforehand.

A Place for the Whole Family

We believe that faith is formed and nurtured at every age. At Christ Lincoln, our Family Ministries partner with parents to help children and students discover the love of Jesus, grow in God's Word, and build meaningful relationships. Whether your family is joining us for the first time or you've been part of Christ Lincoln for years, we're glad you're here.

Nursery Care

Nursery care is available on Sundays from 8:45 – 10:45 AM, providing a safe and welcoming environment for our youngest children. Infants (0–18 months) are cared for in the Bear Room, while toddlers (18 months–4 years) are welcomed in the Squirrel Room. Both rooms are located in the School Wing, where our nursery team is ready to care for your little ones while you worship.

Preschool

Our preschool children are invited to grow in their understanding of God's love through age-appropriate Bible lessons, activities, and time together. Preschool meets on Sundays from 9:20–10:30 AM in Room 103 of the School Building.

Pre-K + Kindergarten

Our Pre-K and Kindergarten ministry helps young children discover the love of Jesus through engaging Bible stories, interactive activities, and meaningful friendships. Children gather on Sundays from 9:20–10:30 AM in the North Ministry Center.

Elementary

Elementary students have the opportunity to explore God's Word, ask questions, and build friendships as they grow in their faith. Through Bible lessons and engaging activities, children learn more about who Jesus is and what His love means for their lives. Elementary meets on Sundays from 9:20–10:30 AM upstairs in the School Building.

Middle School (6-8th Grade)

Middle school students are invited to explore their faith, ask meaningful questions, and build relationships with other students as they grow in their understanding of God's Word. Students in 6th–8th grade meet on Sundays from 9:30–10:30 AM in Meeting Space #3 downstairs.

High School

High school students gather to grow deeper in their faith, explore how God's Word connects to their everyday lives, and build meaningful relationships with one another. Through conversations, Bible study, and community, students are encouraged to follow Jesus as they navigate this season of life. High school meets on Sundays from 9:30–10:30 AM in the downstairs Youth Room.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?

211 Sumner is a casual environment. Jeans and a t-shirt fit right in. Wear whatever feels comfortable.

How long does worship last?

Our services last approximately one hour. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early if you're visiting for the first time.

Where can I learn more?

We invite you to check out our welcome desk and talk to our friendly volunteers. They will be able to give you information about upcoming events and ways to get connected.

Do I have to give money?

Absolutely not. If you're visiting for the first time, there's no expectation to give. Our hope is that you receive the gifts God has for you through worship.

What if I'm not Lutheran?

You're welcome here! Christ Lincoln is part of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. Our worship is centered on Jesus, His Word, and the salvation He gives by grace through faith.
