Meet Daniel Potts

Pastor Potts grew up in Washington, MO but adventured out to Southern California where he attended Concordia university in Irvine, CA. Daniel met his future wife, Katie, while working at a summer camp during college. They got married a week after his college graduation in 2009. He would attend Concordia Seminary in St. Louis to earn his Masters of Divinity. Then in 2021 he completed his doctorate from Creighton University in Omaha. Through their time at the seminary and early in his first call to Trinity Lutheran in Monroe, MI, Katie and Daniel were blessed with four children. In early 2024, Daniel- and the Potts clan- joined the family of believers at Christ Lincoln as the Sanctuary Community Pastor.

FUN FACT // Daniel’s father comes from a family of four kids, and he was the only boy. Daniel is from a family of four kids and he is the only boy. Daniel has four kids and his son is the only boy!

HOBBY // Rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals and getting into stories- reading books, watching shows, listening to audiobooks, or checking out comics.
