Meet Andrea Lewis

Andrea is a diaper Lutheran. She was raised on a farm South of Wilcox, NE. The church she grew up in, St. John’s Lutheran, was originally located on their family’s land and was eventually moved into the town of Wilcox. Andrea and her husband Randy went to school together and were always friends. They didn’t start dating until after High School when Randy was in the Navy and Andrea was attending Kearney State College (now University of Nebraska Kearney). They were married in 1989 and were stationed at NAS Whidbey Island, WA and then NAS Millington, TN. After 10 years in the military they moved back to Nebraska so their girls could grow up closer to family. They have 2 beautiful adult daughters, Jordan and Cassie, and Ashton their wonderful Son-In Law. They also have a foster son Drake, and his daughter Journee who are an important part of their family. While living in TN Andrea worked at their church, Messiah Lutheran, Memphis, as the Fellowship Coordinator. Then after moving back to Nebraska she worked as the Parish Administrator for Holy Savior Lutheran, Lincoln, for 14 years prior to joining the staff at Christ Lincoln. Now she serves part time as the Worship Coordinator for the Yankee Hill campus and is office support for the Sumner campus on Thursdays and Fridays.

We have the best volunteers in the world and I am so grateful to be able to work with all of them. Everyone’s willingness to step up to serve truly fills my heart.
