Sometimes all it takes is a warm hug to make us feel loved, comforted and cared for but not everyone gets a warm hug when they need it. Our knitters at Christ Lincoln care for those who need to feel surrounded by love and they knit together and crochet beautiful baptism blankets, shawls and lap blankets that are distributed among our members at Christ and also out in the community. 

Whether you are a knitting and crochet amateur or an expert in yarn we can use your talent! Join our ladies of all ages that come together to serve their neighbor every first Tuesdays of each month. Most of the knitting will take place in the comfort of your home and the monthly meetings serve to come together and attach labels to the shawls, blankets, prayer squares; enjoy a devotion on prayer; pray for the recipients of our work; share patterns and tips; and enjoy each other.

Our ministry at Christ is mission-minded and has a real outreach impact since our blankets and shawls are distributed among our Griefshare participants, the elderly, the home bound, those hospitalized, babies having a baptism, and soon to cancer patients in our Lincoln community.
