First of all, welcome to Christ Lincoln! We're so excited to get to know you. Regardless of who you are or what you are coming from, we want you to feel welcome here. Our church is a place where people can meet Jesus, engage in life-giving community, and work together to transform our communities. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. We understand visiting a new church can be a bit overwhelming. We want to help make your visit a great one.

When starting a conversation, it's a great idea to introduce yourself. We are a church of sinners working to connect people to Christ, together growing in His word so that all may know Jesus. We are three worship communities, worshiping at two different campuses as one united church. We are an LCMS church based in Lincoln, NE. Learn more about our history and beliefs below.
We worship with two distinct worship styles. 211 Worship is our multisensory worship service. Learn about God’s Word at either campus through music, drama and video. Enjoy a cup of coffee and some fresh-baked cookies. Come as you are and leave blessed by Jesus. Join hundreds of others as we grow in faith. Sanctuary Worship is our updated approach to traditional Lutheran worship service. Join us at our Sumner campus as we learn from God's word, sing new and traditional hymns, and enjoy the music of the Brass and Strings. We celebrate the Lord's Supper and look forward to growing in faith together.

We have been blessed with two campuses. Located at 4325 Sumner Street, our Sumner Campus worships both our 211 Worship and Sanctuary Worship styles each Sunday morning. Located at 6700 Chatsworth Lane, our Yankee Hill Campus worships our 211 Worship style each Sunday morning.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What should I wear?
Our 211 Worship services are a casual environment, so wear what feels comfortable! Jeans and a t-shirt will fit right in. In our Sanctuary Worship services, you can come as you are; however, Sanctuary is a business casual environment - jeans and a dress shirt or blouse will fit right in.
How long are your services?
Each of our services, including our 211 Sumner, 211 Yankee Hill and our Sanctuary Worship services, last an hour. We invite you to arrive before our services start to connect with our community of worshipers!
Where should I park?
At both of our campuses, we have a team of volunteers that will help you feel welcome the moment you drive into our parking lot to the moment you leave. They will be able to help point you to the nearest parking spot and show you to our front doors.
How early should I arrive?
We recommend that you get there fifteen minutes early in order to find a seat, visit our welcome desk, or connect with our greeters.
Where can I learn more once I get there?
At both our Sumner and Yankee Hill campuses, we have welcome desks! We invite you to check out our welcome desks and talk to our friendly volunteers. They will be able to give you information about upcoming events, ways to get connected, and point you to our nearest restrooms.
Do you provide nursery care at Christ Lincoln?
We do provide nursery care at both Christ Lincoln campuses on Sunday mornings! Nursery care is available for children ages 0-4 years. At our Sumner campus, we offer nursery care from 8:55am-10:45am. The toddler nursery (ages 18 months and up) is located in the Squirrel Room and the infant nursery (ages 0-18 months) is located in the Bear Room in our school wing. At our Yankee Hill campus, we offer nursery care from 8:45am-11:45am in Room E105 (Fireflies Room). We also offer nursery care at our Yankee Hill campus on Wednesday evenings from 5:45pm-7:45pm, for ages 0-1st grade, in Room E105 (Fireflies Room).
Am I required to give an offering?
If you're new, please keep your wallet in your pocket. Giving is for those who have made Christ Lincoln their home church. We encourage you as our first time visitor to simply pray about where to start, and talk to a pastor once you are ready.
What is Christ Lincoln's denomination?
We are a Lutheran congregation and a member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS). The LCMS is a group of about 6000 congregations who affiliate with one another - each congregation is different from others, and yet we share the same commitment to the Bible.
