The Cross through our City

Jesus carried a cross about 2,000 years ago, on which He was crucified. On Good Friday, we will carry a cross through our city as a remembrance of God's great love for every one of us. Our humble cross walk is a small act of sacrifice in light of Jesus' life-changing sacrifice on the cross.

Pastor Hutton will begin his journey at our Sumner campus and walk past the Sunken Gardens, past the Capitol building, through downtown, and back to the Sumner campus. In total, this ten mile journey will cover a large portion of our city as we remember the journey that Jesus took to his crucifixion. 

Participation in this event is voluntary. By joining the Good Friday cross walk or carrying the cross, participants assume all risks associated with the activity and agree to release and hold harmless the church, its staff, and volunteers from any liability for injury or harm that may occur.
