Meet Maria Castens

Maria grew up on a Nebraska farm between small towns, Deshler and Hebron. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education Degree and Lutheran Teaching Diploma from Concordia University in Seward, NE. While on a Habitat for Humanity trip to Texas with CUNE, she met her husband Aaron. Maria served 10 years at her first call to Faith Lutheran Middle School & High School in Las Vegas, NV. While there, she and Aaron were excited to add three daughters to their family. Maria also earned her Master of Educational Leadership Degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas during that time. She has been blessed to serve at Christ Lincoln since 2015, currently leading the Family Ministries staff team and directing High School Ministry.
