Visit Before You Visit
Worshiping online gives everyone an ability to gather together in worship, connect with others, and find resources that will encourage and enrich them. Additionally, it gives you a chance to see what our services are like before you step foot at either campus. We cannot wait to get to know you in-person, but until then, you can learn about the law and gospel of our Savior, and get to know our church.
Have Questions?
Take a look at some of our most asked questions below. Have another question? We’d love to speak with you. Click here to send our staff an email.
At Christ Lincoln, we are committed to making sure that your first visit is enjoyable and stress-free. We won't single you out, make you stand up, or pressure you for money. We want you to explore at your own pace. Feel free to stop by our welcome desk to ask any questions that you may have.
We worship with two distinct worship styles. 211 Worship is our multisensory worship service. Learn about God’s Word at either campus through music, drama and video. Enjoy a cup of coffee and some fresh-baked cookies. Come as you are and leave blessed by Jesus. Join hundreds of others as we grow in faith. Sanctuary Worship is our updated approach to traditional Lutheran worship services. Join us at our Sumner campus as we learn from God's word, sing new and traditional hymns, and enjoy the music of the brass and strings. We celebrate the Lord's Supper and look forward to growing in faith together. Both worship styles provide an inviting atmosphere where everyone is welcome, and practical teachings that will help grow your faith in God. Our services are a little over an hour long. No matter which worship style you choose, we cannot wait to worship with you!
Each of our services last roughly an hour. We invite you to arrive before our services start to save a seat, stop by our welcome desk, and connect with our community of worshipers!
Our 211 Worship services are a casual environment, so wear what feels comfortable! Jeans and a t-shirt will fit right in. In our Sanctuary Worship services, you can come as you are; however, many in Sanctuary wear business casual attire - jeans and a dress shirt or blouse would fit right in.
At both of our campuses, we have a team of volunteers that will help you feel welcome the moment you drive into our parking lot to the moment you leave. They will be able to help point you to the nearest parking spot and show you to our front doors.
Should I Bring My Kids to Worship?
“Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” - Matthew 19:14
Absolutely! Children learn from your example, and we’d love for you to make lasting memories with your kids this Holy Week. Children are always welcome in each of our worship communities. On Palm Sundays, we have a nursery available for children from 0 - 4 years old. On Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter, plan on having your kids join you in worship.

Palm Sunday
APRIL THIRTEENTH
Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week and is a day of both celebration and reflection. It’s the day we remember Jesus' arrival in Jerusalem, where crowds welcomed Him by waving palm branches and shouting “Hosanna!”—a cry of praise and hope. At our Palm Sunday services, we celebrate this moment with joyful worship, Scripture, and a time to reflect on the journey Jesus took to the cross. Whether you're familiar with the story or hearing it for the first time, you’re invited to experience the hope and promise of Palm Sunday with us at Christ Lincoln!

Maundy Thursday
APRIL SEVENTEENTH
Maundy Thursday is a time to remember Jesus’ final night with His disciples before His journey to the cross. On this night, Jesus shared the Last Supper, washed His disciples’ feet as a sign of humble love, and gave a new command: “Love one another as I have loved you.” At our Maundy Thursday service, we gather to reflect on His deep love for us through Scripture, communion, and worship. It’s a powerful moment to pause, remember, and prepare our hearts for what is to come. We invite you to join us as we walk with Jesus through this holy night.

Good Friday
APRIL EIGHTEENTH
Good Friday is a day of deep reflection, as we remember Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. It may seem like a day of sorrow, but it is also a day of incredible love—because Jesus willingly gave His life for us. Our Good Friday service is a time of prayer, Scripture, and contemplation, as we walk through the events of that day, from the betrayal to the crucifixion. But remember, Friday is good because Sunday is coming. You are invited to experience this meaningful night with us at Christ Lincoln.

"HE IS NOT HERE..."
Imagine the sorrow and confusion that filled the hearts of those who loved Jesus when they saw Him die. The One they had followed, the One who had healed, forgiven, and brought hope—now lifeless in a tomb. When the women came to the grave that morning, expecting to mourn, they found only emptiness. "He is not here," the angel declared. What must they have felt in that moment? Fear? Shock? But then came the words that changed everything: "He has risen, just as He said." Grief turned to joy, despair to hope, and death to life. This Easter, we celebrate that same hope—because Jesus is alive, and that changes everything.
JOIN US THIS EASTER
The story of Jesus doesn't end with the cross. We live because He rose! Join us this Easter, April 20th, as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and the new life that we have through Him.
