Meet Luke Schnake

Luke and Jane began dating their senior year of high school, graduating together in 1970 from Walther Lutheran, Melrose Park, Illinois. They each received a teaching degree from Concordia, Chicago in ’74; married that July. He's been a Pastor since 1978, serving four congregations in three states – Illinois, Wisconsin, Nebraska. His Doctoral work was completed in 1994. Jane continues to teach our Monday morning Women’s Bible Study at Christ Lincoln. They have been blessed with four children and thirteen grandchildren. They both enjoy traveling, reading and just being together. He also has a lifelong passion for baseball. Over the years, He's also enjoyed doing yardwork, although that reality is lessens each year.

FOOD OR DRINK // My preferences are quite unlimited, but I did refuse to drink kumas (fermented mare's milk) while twice on mission trips in Kyrgyzstan

HOBBY // Traveling, reading, yardwork, baseball
