MISSIONS
Mission of the Month
Our Goal is to build teams within Christ Lincoln to bring the love of Jesus to human need in our community and the world. Monthly Mission Partners train our teams to show the love of Jesus and connect us to human need.
Our Vision is for Christ Lincoln to become a network of small teams with unique passions to bring the love of Jesus to human need.

Over 5% of Uganda 's population is made up of orphaned children. Hope Center Uganda’s mission is rescuing abused, abandoned, and orphaned children of Uganda and restoring their future with a Christ-centered home. They believe children don’t just need a hand out, but a hand up. They seek to do this through providing the highest standard of love, care and Christian education.
Trinity HOPE

Our Partner Missions
Lincoln Pregnancy Center

Services offered by the Pregnancy Center include confidential counsel, pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, materials support, parenting and birth classes all at no cost to clients or taxpayers.
Juniper Refuge
Juniper Refuge exists to show the love of Jesus to refugees by fostering meaningful relationships and providing resources and support through the local Church and trusted community partners. They seek to provide refugee-status residents and Christians the opportunities to make genuine connections with one another.
Families Together
Families Together provides temporary care for vulnerable children while a parent is going through a crisis and needs support. This is a preventative program to keep children out of foster care, it is all volunteer, no state involvement or contracts.
There are three ways you can be involved:
• Host Homes - These are individuals or couples who provide safe, loving hospitality to a child(ren) on a short-term basis.
• Family Mentor - This is an individual who serves as a mentor to birth parents as they seek to meet their goals.
• Care Community - These individuals provide everything a host home needs to be successful, child transportation, meal delivery, helping with chores, diaper and coffee runs, and more!
City Impact
City Impact is a faith-based, youth development non-profit in Lincoln, Nebraska. They mentor, teach, and empower under-resourced kids, growing them into leaders who break the cycle of poverty. They live and serve where our community needs it most. Our space is full of energetic kids with hopes and dreams. We work with them to remove emotional, physical, and spiritual barriers, allowing them to flourish.

Caregiving, Gracepoint and Joanna Comfort Dog
During December we will celebrate the work of Joanna Comfort Dog, GracePoint Counseling and twelve caregiving teams that bring tangible good in the name of Jesus. Maybe you are passionate about one of these or something entirely new. We are an entire congregation of caregivers. How has God equipped you to show up in the name of Jesus to bring tangible good?
Fly Like Chi
Fly Like Chi's mission is to help build confidence and self worth for kids in the child welfare system by providing opportunities to pursue their passions in arts, activities and athletics.
Food Bank of Lincoln
Since our founding in 1982, we’ve been focused on our mission to alleviate hunger in Southeast Nebraska. Within the 16 counties we serve, an estimated 64,510 people are food insecure, including 20,320 children under the age of 18. This means 1 in 7 neighbors—and 1 in 5 children—may not have reliable and consistent access to enough food to live active, healthy lives. In fiscal year 2023, we connected neighbors in Southeast Nebraska to more than 10.2 million meals.
Bridges to Hope
Bridges to Hope’s mission is to act as a bridge to serve and encourage men and women transitioning back into the community after incarceration, as they become successful contributors to society. Reentrants receive an average of 30 items, including clothing, hygiene products, work boots, furniture, beds, and more, all in an effort to prevent them from falling back.
Mission of Christ Network
Mission of Christ Network is a missionary sending organization focused on Intentional Gospel Proclamation. Our mission is to boldly, intentionally, and faithfully make known the light, love, and peace of Jesus Christ. We currently have 53 mission partners (missionaries) serving with local ministries in 19 countries.
Forward
Forward is a ministry hosted by Trinity Lutheran Church that helps families by providing a monthly supplement of diapers and wipes. Families can receive diapers and wipes for each child using diapers and/or pull-ups up to age 5. Forward is open every Monday except holidays from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
