We have surpassed the available space on our Sumner Campus. Our elementary students and childcare kids are split between two buildings, with no more space for two-sections per grade level of elementary. The concern of turning away students due to space is now reality. The portable building has been a blessing, but it has far outlived its life expectancy. On Sundays we take over the entire neighborhood due to the lack of parking. With unity in one building and room to grow from there, we can plan for a Christ Lincoln that impacts our community for another 75 years.
Making Room will allow us to bring all students into our main building and out of the portable, create space to help those in our family ministries programming deepen their faith, and give our church body and staff purposeful room to gather. Our call as God's people is to make those who do not know His love, word, and forgiveness our first priority, and to share our Christian faith with our neighbors across the street and across the world. We seek to create additional space for those in ministry with us now and for the new families and faces coming to Christ to be equipped to live out the call to follow Jesus, experience deeper discipleship, and vibrancy in worship.
