MEET WENDY HERROLD

DIRECTOR OF CONNECTIONS

Wendy was born and raised in Seward county as was her husband, James. They met in 5th grade and were friends until they started dating their senior year of high school. Upon high school graduation, they moved to Lincoln where James attended UNL and Wendy attended Southeast Community College and then Wesleyan University where she majored in Business Administration with minors in Organizational Communication and Marketing. James and Wendy were married at the age of 19 and became members at Christ Lincoln in 2016. They have been blessed with two children: Josie who attends Lincoln Lutheran and Jeremiah who attends Christ Lincoln. They treasure family game night and spending time with friends!

FOOD OR DRINK  //  Cajun soup with a glass of milk - and chocolate chip cookie dough!

FUN FACT  //  My first job was teaching swimming lessons at the age of 10. My love for swimming continued to grow as I became a lifeguard and now I teach 4 water aerobics classes each week at the local YMCAs. 

HOBBY  //  I love to spend quality time with family and friends playing card games, kickball, or pickleball.

WORSHIP MINISTRIES

The Worship Ministries Team endeavors to establish a hospitable atmosphere for our weekly campus visitors. Within this team, Worship Community Pastors collaborate closely with Ministry Directors to orchestrate worship services in our three worship communities across two campuses. Their aim is to bolster these worship communities by offering volunteer openings, organizing outreach initiatives, and fostering distinct fellowship groups.
