Working/Retired Men in the Word

Topic:  Our men's Bible study group typically goes through a 4 week-long series from the Lutheran Hour Men's Network every month in the conference room at Scooters.  Four of us are retired and four are gainfully employed.

We begin at 6:30 in the morning and close with prayer at 7:15 am then workers go to work and the rest of us have a second cup of coffee. If you have not been with our group or in a Bible study recently, please feel welcome to join us or just visit if you are shopping around.

Men's Bible Study Group

Golf & Study Group

Description: Golfers group, various study topics

During the warmer months (Mar-Oct), this group meets at Hi-Mark at 4:00 pm for golf followed by Bible Study at HyVee (70th & Pioneers) at 6:15 pm.  During the winter months, they meet at the church in the Fellowship Hall alcove at 5:30 pm.

Tuesday Morning Bible Study

Description: The Tuesday Morning Bible study is a group of working and retired men getting together for an hour of Bible study, prayer requests, fellowship and of course coffee and doughnuts. Our studies range from books of the Bible to various topical studies.

Description:  Luke’s Gospel celebrates women as Jesus included and valued them throughout His earthly ministry.  No matter the season or setting in which we find ourselves, we gather to be encouraged through Luke’s Gospel, as Jesus loves, esteems, forgives and calls us into His touch on our lives today.

Wednesday Women in the Word

Description:  Currently studying "Answers Academy, Biblical Apologetics for Real Life."  Other topics to follow. We are a smaller group of 4-8 women meeting weekly to discuss God's Word and what He has to say.   This is a relaxed atmosphere where we enjoy fellowship and friendship as we learn more about the Bible and God. You are welcome to bring your lunch to the study.

Building Better Moms!
